We're raising £25,000 to deliver two Skills Days for young drivers and riders in 2026. These fun and practical events build essential road skills on iconic UK Motor Circuits, giving young people the safer start they deserve and helping save lives. Help us empower the next generation on the road.

Young drivers aged 17–24 represent just 7% of UK licence holders but account for over 20% of fatal or serious collisions. This age group is four times more likely to be involved in such incidents compared to drivers aged 25 and over. Factors contributing to this include inexperience, risk-taking behaviours, and peer influence. Our charity aims to address these issues through targeted education, advanced driver training, and advocacy for policy reforms.

IAM RoadSmart Skills Days provide drivers and riders the opportunity to develop their road skills with qualified instructors, utilising iconic UK Motor Circuits as a classroom. We'll deliver two Skills Days (one for drivers and one for riders) exclusive to people aged 17-26. They'll not only develop life-saving skills on a traffic-free circuit guided by experts, but also build new connections and grow a sense of community, essential for their wellbeing and a relaxed learning environment.
