The Lifeshare Christmas Project provides a warm, dry, safe space for rough sleepers, the socially isolated, & those experiencing food and fuel poverty as Manchester's ONLY 5-day Christmas provision. Staffed by volunteers we provide hot meals, fresh clothes, access to support services, and community.

During the holidays many of the resources that vulnerable people across Manchester utilise to access support including food, housing, and crisis support close down over the Christmas period. These resources are vital as early intervention and support are key to helping people experiencing homelessness. Additionally this year more than ever - food and fuel poverty are top of mind with energy and cost of living increases so many will struggle to stay warm and fed even before these services close.
Lifeshare's staff realised more than 30 years ago that all of the charitable resources that homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester depended on for support closed during Christmas. Lifeshare, supported by it's dedicated volunteers, stepped in to not only provide this support but also 5 full days of hot meals, showers, medical care, art therapy, and companionship to reduce isolation and keep people warm and fed over the holidays.
