Go Live uses the joy of theatre to support young people’s skill development, emotional wellbeing, and future readiness. The Christmas Challenge will help us deliver our ambitious range of theatre trips and drama workshops in 2026 and support us to expand our work nationally.

With a 50% rise in ticket prices, half of schools cutting trips, and GCSE Drama down 40% since 2010, young people are losing access to vital cultural experiences that support personal growth, wellbeing, and professional development. Many theatre opportunities are inaccessible or overpriced. This loss hits those most in need, such as students with protected characteristics or from working class backgrounds, preventing them from discovering a passion for theatre or reaching their full potential.
Go Live will support the most vulnerable and marginalised young people in London, to develop new skills, make friends, grow in confidence and feel optimistic about the future through our subsidised theatre trips and drama activities. Our experienced team will give young people the support they need to unlock their potential, targeting areas highlighted as culturally deprived, prioritising schools with the highest level of pupil premium, and working with well-connected local youth groups.
