For many communities across the UK, there is a lack of hope. More than 1 in 5 people face poverty and approximately 3 in 10 children live in poverty. Many families face social, economic and other forms of deprivation with little support. This often results in complex wellbeing challenges, seen in the rise of chronic loneliness across the country and increasing mental health struggles, particularly in young people. Change is urgently needed. You can make a difference.
CPAS supports communities across the UK, bringing hope in times of struggle. We equip and empower 10,000 church leaders and volunteers through community focused training every year. We appoint leaders to 200 parishes serving areas facing multiple forms of deprivation and are developing new group coaching initiatives to raise up younger leaders. We also provide 3,000 young people with the holiday of a lifetime, with Falcon holidays heavily subsidised for children facing deprivation challenges.
