A cancer diagnosis is devastating for the whole family - physically, emotionally, and financially. Parents struggle with everyday tasks, children feel scared and confused, and support can be hard to access. Wolo’s founders faced this too on their own cancer journey: alongside isolation, long wait times, lack of mental health and practical support, and no help post-treatment. Rising living costs mean families really need Wolo’s support now more than ever.

Wolo solves the challenges families face after a cancer diagnosis by providing bespoke support – practical, emotional, and wellbeing support. We fund therapies, organise free family events, run a 6-week wellness course, and offer social groups to reduce isolation. We also respond to individual needs - arranging cleaners, maintenance, or sourcing items - to ease pressure and help families focus on recovery and time together.
