ThinkForward exists to prevent youth unemployment. The transition from school to work isn’t always easy. Young people often lack insight into working life and what options are available to them. Many also face a variety of challenges, such as racial inequity, that can prevent them from getting the most out of their education and securing good quality employment. Nearly 1 million of young people are not in education, employment or training (NEET), representing 13.4% of 16-24-year-olds in the UK.

ThinkForward’s long term coaching programmes – FutureMe, Future Leaders and Making Strides - support young people to succeed in education, unlock their potential and make a successful transition from school to work. We provide young people with a combination of one-to-one coaching, workplace activities and youth participation opportunities for up to five years, enabling them to gain the confidence, skills and opportunities they need to secure employment and create brighter futures. .
