More than a billion people worldwide live with a disability. Many are needlessly disabled by conditions which could have been prevented, or could be treated if medical care was accessible. This is both a cause and consequence of poverty.

IMPACT takes the hospital to the people using modern hospitals and clinics that travel by road, rail or boat. Our teams of highly trained medics reach remote communities in low income countries, providing treatment to people living with disabling conditions who have no other hope of relief. IMPACT also has many static hospitals and clinics in rural areas which become the hub of community-based action to end malnutrition, make motherhood and childhood safer, provide clean water and so much more.
