In the UK, around 100 children are diagnosed with the aggressive childhood cancer, neuroblastoma each year. Despite advances in treatment, neuroblastoma accounts for around 15% of childhood cancer deaths, and 6% of all childhood cancer diagnosis. The treatments currently available to these children are especially intensive, and can also lead to other, lifelong health challenges. More research is desperately needed to improve treatment for children with neuroblastoma and to save more young lives.

Improving outcomes for children with neuroblastoma starts by investing in research, but this type of research is currently significantly underfunded. Neuroblastoma UK exists to fund research, improve treatments and ultimately find a cure for this aggressive childhood cancer. Since 1982, we have invested nearly £10 million into impactful research to advance our understanding of neuroblastoma, accelerate drug development and make breakthroughs in treatment.
