More than 1 in 7 UK adults say their mental health is currently bad or the worst it’s ever been. Many people in South Yorkshire are facing serious mental health challenges but can’t access timely or affordable support when they need it most. The region has some of the UK’s highest rates of antidepressant use, and long waiting lists leave 43% feeling worse. Tragically, 66% say they have no one to talk to about their mental health or even the daily struggles and stresses of life.
We are here to listen. Whether in crisis or simply needing to talk, we are here to listen, we give hope, comfort and compassionate support to those in need. By partnering with organisations, we are accessible to people at an early stage and can offer timely support to prevent their mental health from deteriorating. We're also available in moments of crisis—such as bereavement or acute stress—when immediate help is vital.
