Surrey is perceived as a universally affluent and successful county but hidden pockets of poverty and vast disparities of wealth exist across the county. The cost-of-living crisis and financial challenges have increased and further deepened existing inequalities, increasing the need for support from wider sources. We provide creative art activities in a safe, calm and peaceful location, promoting wellbeing, so that those most vulnerable can gain benefits of the transformative power of art.

Watts Gallery provides art workshops to those most vulnerable in our community. Working alongside community partners, we give opportunity for participants to gain benefits from engaging in art and creativity in a calm, safe setting including; fostering creativity, building confidence, self esteem and the foundations for positive progression. Through building key personal skills and improving wellbeing, they can be empowered to make positive life choices and reduce the disparities of opportunity.
