We will provide educational grants to adults who have come to settle in the UK & whose first language is not English. Many face barriers to employment. We will fund a range of courses e.g. dentistry, community interpreting, accounting to empower beneficiaries to build better lives for themselves.

Beneficiaries
Many refugees, asylum seekers and migrants face barriers to rebuilding their lives because they cannot afford vital education, training, or accreditation to adapt to life in the UK and meet UK job requirements. Without support, their skills and potential go unrealised, leaving them isolated and at risk of long-term unemployment. The opportunity to learn and move forward in their lives also provides great benefit to people's mental health.
We award grants up to £1500 to help people pay for essential courses, exams & qualifications. This enables them to gain the skills, accreditation and confidence they need to work, integrate & thrive in the UK, whatever hardship they have fled. Our work is impactful. 99% of our funding goes directly to beneficiaries. We open doors to opportunity, such as for Lilya from Ukraine (below), who we supported to take Part One of the Solicitor's Qualifying Examination. In 24-25 we awarded more than £100,000 to 194 people from 47 different countries including Sudan, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan & Yemen.
