The young people we support face complex challenges such as poverty, caring responsibilities, trauma, bereavement, and unstable home lives. 50% of our current cohort live in the top 20% of income-deprivation in the UK. These experiences leave them isolated, struggling, and with limited self-belief. Without support, they risk continuing the cycle of disadvantage. Our programmes provide sustained, active support to help them realise their potential beyond their disadvantage
Our 12-month programme combines life skill workshops, therapeutic outdoor adventure and compassionate coaching, giving disadvantaged young people space to discover their strengths and resilience. Within supported group ‘Huddles’, young people take on adventure challenges with achievement and learning reflected back at them through consistent coaching support. Young people complete the programme with over 80% having increased confidence and understanding of their strengths and actions.
