We continue to need funds to send Water Survival Boxes to disasters around the world. Since 2006, over 24,000 of our boxes have been sent to families in 43 countries. Each box is designed to support a family of 5 so help has already been delivered to over 120,000 people.

We look to respond to worldwide emergency need for safe drinking water where local supplies are disrupted because of natural and man-made disasters. Previously we identified that preparation of boxes in advance would enable boxes to be ready for dispatch and this is key to our rapid response. However, it is also important to be aware of the increasing difficulties in world wide logistical support of people in need which often means unacceptable delays at borders and in transportation routes
Fundamental to our aid is the provision of water purification equipment in the form of the Grifaid Aqua filter which can make safe to drink up to 200,000 litres of unclean water. This is supplemented by the provision of; shelter and survival tools; feeding and drinking essentials; hygiene items; and general household items such as cook sets, bandages, cotton material, sewing kit etc. enabling victims to restart their lives with essential items all in one box!
