Through our Creative Hub, we invite children to become our active creative collaborators - offering local children, families, and schools hands-on opportunities to make theatre, amplify young voices at the heart of our work, and deliver transformative experiences.

Fair access to culture & creativity for children has been decimated by austerity & the cost-of-living crisis. Coupled with the lack of resources faced by schools & rising costs for families, barriers between children & creativity are higher than ever, disproportionately impacting those facing socio-economic disadvantage. But creativity is not a luxury – with proven benefits to a child’s wellbeing and educational engagement, all children deserve to access and benefit from culture & creativity.

By putting children at the heart of our creative process, especially those who face barriers to accessing cultural events, we address the current lack of equal access. We cannot make our best work without children’s expertise, so this becomes a meaningful exchange with us learning about their worlds and them learning about theatre/ours. This process creates meaningful impact and connection for participants, schools, local communities, audiences, & professional artists.
