Support Baytree Centre's educational projects for women and girls in Lambeth. This Christmas, help provide 1-2-1 mentoring for 100 girls affected by the rising cost of living, empowering them with skills to thrive. Baytree offers education, training, and a safe space to break the cycle of poverty.

We address multiple barriers to inclusion for women and girls, such as lack of English skills, learning opportunities, and employment access. Issues include school exclusions, poverty, poor housing, isolation, mental health challenges, discrimination, violence, abusive homes, and family breakdowns. Located in an underserved area in Lambeth, we combat the effects of gang crime, violence, and trauma, exacerbated by the ongoing cost of living crisis, which hinder academic and personal growth.
Baytree addresses challenges with a person-centered approach, tailoring services to individual needs. We offer ESOL, integration support, and advocacy for asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants, including out-of-school girls. We support young women not in education, training, or employment and provide social mobility coaching. Our mentoring programme pairs 100 girls with mentors for weekly 1-2-1 sessions, enhancing skills, confidence, and academic achievement in a safe, welcoming space.
