“There are an ‘army’ of parents out there who are fighting for our children. It’s time to stop having to fight, because we deserve better.” Parents Helpline caller Amid rising mental health stigma and growing NHS waiting lists, parents, carers and extended family are doing all they can to plug the gaps in a broken system. They deserve recognition and support.

YoungMinds' Parents Helpline is the UK’s only free, confidential and on-demand service for adults concerned about the mental health of their child or a young person they care for. Extended helpline opening hours and increased engagement with communities will mean we can be there for more families. We know we can’t scale our service to support every family, so we’ll bring adult advocates for youth mental health together to show solidarity, share their experiences and plant seeds of change.
