"They don’t see my human side” We are sadly meeting more women who are being pushed to the brink of survival. Women who feel invisible, who are fighting to survive poverty and who have nowhere to turn for care and the most basic essentials. Many don't have a safe place to sleep or the choice to make it feel like home. Financial and health struggles and further cuts to lifeline services are taking a huge toll on women's mental wellbeing, self-esteem and hope.
"I can’t place into words how much MASH has helped me” For women who feel judged, alone or have no safe place to turn to, MASH provides hope. They won't be asked lots of intrusive questions before they can access support. From the drop-in and the MASH van, women can access nutritious food, emergency essentials, clothes, hygiene items and more. They can also get more in-depth, caring support from case workers e.g. around debt or healing from trauma which can really alleviate distress
