Unrestricted core funding will support our work as a thriving, inclusive community hub. Funding is critical to maintaining our role as a trusted, accessible space—where people come to connect, build confidence, and improve wellbeing. This will bridge the gap and maintain equitable access for all.

North Tyneside faces deep-rooted deprivation, loneliness and health inequalities. Rising costs and reduced funding threaten Linskill Centre’s ability to meet demand. Linskill Trust has limited eligibility for grant funding due to the organisation's annual turnover. For this reason we are seeking other sources of financial support. Without core support, we risk losing programmes that tackle isolation, improve wellbeing and provide opportunities for thousands.
The funds will help the Linskill Centre maintain and strengthen its role as a community anchor organisation. This enables us to continue delivery of our community sessions offering a breadth of activities to reduce isolation by connecting people; retain skilled staff who deliver our projects and activities; improving health and wellbeing - sustaining access for those most in need. Funds will contribute to our essential costs—ensuring our safe, welcoming spaces remain open to all.
