Too many women and girls are dismissed, misdiagnosed, or harmed in sexual and reproductive healthcare. This isn’t personal or accidental, it’s systemic. We’re equipping women, educating professionals, and breaking the silence around misogyny in medicine before more lives are lost or destroyed.

Sexism in gynaecological care is harming and even killing women and girls. Too often they are dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left in pain for years. Conditions like endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) are under-researched and under-treated. Less than 2.5% of medical research funding goes to women’s reproductive health despite women and girls comprising 50% of the world’s population. This is medical misogyny and it’s systemic. It silences women and girls, delays care, and costs lives.
We can’t solve this alone, but we can help move the needle through education, empowerment, and targeted action. We will equip women and girls with tools, shared language, and community support to advocate for themselves in healthcare settings. We’ll create space for solidarity and self-advocacy where medical systems have silenced them. Alongside this, we’ll educate healthcare professionals on gender bias, respectful care, and how to recognise and challenge medical misogyny in their practice.
