Around 250,000 pregnancies end in miscarriage in the UK each year. However, miscarriage remains poorly understood, under-researched, and surrounded by stigma. Many vulnerable and disadvantaged women and girls report feeling isolated and unsupported. We are working hard to change that.

Miscarriage can have a significant impact on mental health, relationships, and day-to-day life. Yet conversations around miscarriage are often minimised, and support services can be difficult to access for the most vulnerable. Accessibility and language barriers can prevent many disadvantaged and under-represented people from getting the support they need, in the way that they need it. It is our aim that no one has to go through miscarriage feeling isolated, dismissed, or unsupported.
Adapting our free support services to be more accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all, ensuring our information and support is available in a wide range of formats, languages, & community settings, and removing barriers that prevent people from accessing the help they need. Offering high-quality emotional support and information for those experiencing loss, wherever they are and however they access us, through our helpline, live chat, online resources, and peer support groups.
