Women are disproportionately affected by poverty, domestic abuse, & homelessness. 45% of single-parent families—90% led by women—live in poverty. 50% of the children in these households face the same hardship. 25% of women will experience domestic abuse. 23% of single female pensioners live in poverty. CWRC supports women facing these intersecting challenges, including those with insecure immigration status, housing issues, poor mental health, or in contact with the criminal justice system.

CWRC offers a holistic, trauma-informed approach tailored to women's lived experiences. Our Women's Centre model provides: * One-to-one & peer support. * Confidence-building group activities. * Access to information & advocacy on issues such as housing, employment, benefits, & domestic abuse. * ESOL, creative expression, and wellbeing programmes. * A safe, inclusive community where women can heal & grow together. All services are delivered by women, for women, ensuring trust & relatability.
