Reclaim The Frame builds audiences for women & marginalised-gender led perspectives in cinema through inclusive film events across the UK. By offering safe spaces, access provision and community tickets, Reclaim The Frame For All enables our work to be more accessible to a much broader audience.

Reclaim The Frame, formerly known as Birds’ Eye View, has been working for 20 years to support films made by women and people of all marginalised genders to reach the audiences they deserve. With a recent survey showing that ticket price is the main barrier to entry for more than one third of people, and for others a lack of access provision or feeling safe, welcome or included, the funds we raise will help enable continued improvements for our most under-served audiences.

Reclaim The Frame works with 20+ cinemas in 16 cities around the UK to welcome audiences of all demographics to engage with and to enjoy female and marginalised gender-led films. For those who rarely find points of identification in the films they have access to, this can be profoundly affirming. For a wider audience, these screenings offer insight and access to a broader intersectional feminist worldview. Key to this is enabling inclusion for audiences with access needs and on low/no incomes.
