Many refugee women in the UK face disbelief, trauma, and poverty due to a harsh asylum system. We provide a safe space, skills training, and support to help them heal, rebuild their lives, and advocate for change—centring their voices to create a fairer, more compassionate asylum process.

Many women seek safety in the UK after surviving rape, torture, and war. Instead, the asylum system often disbelieves their stories, silences their voices, and denies them protection. If refused asylum, women can be detained indefinitely or pushed into poverty, with no right to housing or financial support. This compounds their trauma and leaves them without safety, dignity or a chance to rebuild their lives.

We support women to reclaim their power and rebuild their lives on their own terms. We create a safe, inclusive space offering English, digital skills, crafts, dance, and LGBTQ+ support—fostering healing and community. We also support refugee and asylum-seeking women to safely share their stories publicly, influence policy through research, and campaign for change. By centring their voices and building skills, we challenge stigma and push for a fairer, more compassionate asylum system.
