Five committed runners from Team Turnaround will be taking on 26.2 miles at the Belfast Marathon to support the development of The Turnaround Hub, a dedicated space supporting people who have served sentences to turn around their lives.

Situation
We're redefining the boundaries between the justice system and the wider community. Some of us have been through that system, some of us haven’t. But working together, we enable people who have served sentences to turn around their futures, and we engage the wider community in supporting them on that journey.
Solution
Turnaround provides a supportive community in which people can access personal development opportunities and pursue their own goals. We enable people to secure employment, either by offering transitional jobs in our own social enterprise or by connecting them with other employers. And we engage and advocate to help society recognise the strengths of people who have traveled that journey and to think about how they might help to lower the barriers they face.
