1 in 10 women and girls across the UK are living with endometriosis, but diagnosis times continue to rise. Without a diagnosis, they cannot access vital treatment and care. We are committed to improving diagnosis times through menstrual education and supporting earlier awareness of endometriosis.

It now takes on average nearly 9 years to receive a diagnosis of endometriosis in the UK. Endometriosis can have a devastating impact on all aspects of life: education, career, relationships, fertility, and quality of life. Despite this, it is a disease that most people have never heard of. Without awareness, pain and symptoms can be dismissed and brushed aside as ‘normal’. Without a diagnosis, treatment cannot be accessed, and the disease may progress.
We will work to raise greater awareness of menstrual health and endometriosis among women and girls and improve menstrual education in schools, colleges, and universities. Earlier intervention can prevent the disease from progressing, supporting better health outcomes for those living with the disease and enabling them to reach their potential.
