Women for Women International invests where inequality is greatest by helping the forgotten women and girl survivors of war. In times of conflict, women face extreme poverty, violence and deep-rooted inequality. War strips them of safety, opportunity and rights — many become sole providers after losing family, yet lack access to education, economic resources or decision-making power. Our programmes help them rebuild with skills, support and hope for a more equal and peaceful future.

Through our core Stronger Women, Stronger Nations Programme, and our newly formed Adolescent Girls Programme, women and girls learn the skills they need to rebuild their lives. Those who join the programme connect with each other to form support networks, are equipped with the skills to earn an income and save and gain knowledge and resources to care for their families and defend their rights. Women use their power together, passing it on to neighbours and their children for lasting change.
