Approximately 1 in 4 women have experienced sexual abuse before the the age of 16. Girls are disproportionately affected by CSA, comprising 79% of victims in reported cases. The impact is lifelong: survivors face higher risks of mental health struggles, low self-worth, PTSD, and difficulty forming safe relationships. Too many suffer in silence, without access to the trauma-informed support they need to heal.
Quetzal are creating a safe, supportive community. We provide trauma-informed support through therapy, peer groups, and survivor-led programs that empower healing. By offering a safe space for connection, support, and skill-building, we help women move from surviving to thriving. We also advocate for greater awareness and systemic change to break cycles of abuse. Our holistic approach nurtures emotional resilience, rebuilds self-esteem, and inspires long-term recovery and empowerment.
