Despite progress, systemic inequality continues to hold women and girls back across Wales — particularly those from marginalised communities. Women are underrepresented in leadership, face unequal pay, and experience high levels of violence and discrimination. Our ongoing work tackles these deep-rooted issues through policy, partnerships, and empowering women to lead change.
We have been working for years to build a Wales where women’s voices are heard. Through our feminist leadership programmes, campaign coalitions, research, and influencing work, WEN Wales is changing policy, building capacity, and elevating women into public life. This funding will sustain and strengthen the successful work we’re already doing — enabling us to reach more women and adapt to growing demand.
