Women often leave prison extremely vulnerable and struggle to access essentials, this can cause challenges and derail positive changes. The prevalence of mental ill-health and experiences of trauma and abuse is higher for female offenders, and so without strong support foundations they are more likely to reoffend. Supporting women to reintegrate into their communities and providing basic essentials such as food, toiletries, clothing and phones addresses known drivers of repeat offending.

Our charity offers day-of-release support where we can help women make their next positive steps back into the community. Frequently women will come to us with nothing to restart their life in society, our team will provide basic essentials to give that woman assistance into a safe, fresh start. This campaign will bring in crucial donations to fund our essentials such as food, toiletries, clothing, and phones with data – all of which help keep her safe and connected.
