Situation
Our current single-bed setup limits capacity to 24 children, restricting our ability to host larger school groups. This makes it harder for schools to access affordable residential trips and limits the income we can generate to fund free holidays for disadvantaged children. Without increased capacity, we risk missing opportunities to support more children, expand our impact, and secure long-term financial sustainability for our charity’s vital work.
Solution
### **The Solution** Installing bunk beds will increase our capacity to 30+ children, allowing us to launch affordable school residentials. This will generate income to support our free holiday programme for disadvantaged children. More children will access enriching experiences, and schools will have a cost-effective option. This upgrade ensures financial resilience, expands our reach, and strengthens our ability to inspire Derbyshire’s children to flourish—now and in the future.
