Oxford’s residents are widely thought by the general public to be well educated and relatively wealthy on average, but the city has a serious homelessness problem arising primarily from the high cost of housing in the vicinity. Lists from the past decade of the number of rough sleepers vs the total population size continuously feature Oxford in the worst 10 towns within the UK. It is also unfortunately true that on average half a dozen rough sleepers die on Oxford’s streets every winter.

Drop-in services provide basic, immediate support that helps ensure short term survival (e.g. food, clothes, toiletries, health kits, sleeping bags, and shower services). Additional they encourage personal development and aid guests on their personal journey, transitioning back into permanent housing and employment. Lastly they act as a gateway for guests to access our other services providing bespoke, individual support including additional training and opportunities for personal development.
