Youth mental health is at crisis point. In 2023–24, 204,000 children were referred to NHS services, with many waiting over two years for care (Children’s Commissioner, 2024). Overstretched NHS services and schools mean support is often reserved for only the most severe cases. We fill a vital gap—providing early, evidence-based help to all young people, especially those in disadvantaged communities where access is lowest and need is greatest.

Immediate, personalised support when it’s needed most. stem4's award-winning apps for anxiety, self-harm, depression and eating disorders are used by thousands every week. They are free and available 24/7. Clinically proven to reduce symptoms in 90% of cases, our apps provide real, life-changing help early, and deliver resilience tools for continued change. We're here for every young person, no matter who they are. Please help us keep it this way and give them a chance.
