We are raising funds to provide four weeks of holiday activities, during the Summer and October 2025 school holidays, for young people from low-income families aged 11 to 18 years who would otherwise have nowhere else safe to go and nothing else affordable or constructive to do.

The young people who come to The Sulgrave Club are from low-income families with little or no access to affordable facilities or activities outside of school. During holidays, without a safe place to go, they can become bored and isolated if at home, or susceptible to negative peer pressure and potential anti-social behaviour if out on the streets. This lack of opportunities limits their experiences, curbs their development, and can lead to a damaging lack of confidence and loss of self-esteem.
We will provide approximately 50 young people from low-income families with three weeks of activities during the Summer 2025 holidays and one week during the October 2025 half term. We will offer them the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting and challenging on and off-site fun, sporting, and creative activities and outings during their holidays, keeping them constructively engaged in the company of old and new friends, supported by an experienced team of youth work staff.
