The delivery of free professional specialist counselling support for women and girls impacted by all forms of domestic abuse, violence. Sessions improve clients’ emotional wellbeing and ability to understand, process and better cope with their experience and more forward with a life free from fear.

Women who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual violence, or coercive control often face severe psychological and emotional consequences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. The trauma of abuse does not end when the violence stops—many survivors struggle with emotional regulation, trust, and self-worth, impacting their ability to rebuild their lives.

JWA provides free, trauma-informed counselling for women and girls who’ve experienced abuse, violence, or trauma. We address the urgent lack of accessible, culturally sensitive mental health support, helping them heal, recover, and rebuild their lives. Integrating different therapeutic techniques therapists help women manage flashbacks, regulate emotions, and rebuild a sense of safety.
