Last year, we received over 13,000 calls into our dedicated Helpline. Domestic abuse and sexual violence are significant issues in our local area, with thousands of people impacted each year. These experiences can lead to long-term emotional, physical, and psychological harm, affecting whole families. Despite the growing need for support, many victims face barriers to accessing help, including fear, stigma, or lack of awareness about available services.

Freeva focuses on addressing these challenges by offering tailored support services and preventative education. We provide 1-2-1 support for victims, helping them rebuild confidence and live free from harm. This includes an advisory Helpline, counselling for adults and children, support for those who have experienced sexual violence, safety planning and more. For those who have caused harm, we offer behaviour change interventions designed to break the cycle of abuse, ultimately reducing harm.
