We are converting an old bowling pavilion within a busy local park, offering work experience and volunteer opportunities to young people and adults who are neurodivergent and/or require mental health support. Our mental health nurse will provide support to everyone using the hub/cafe.

Beneficiaries
Dundee's unemployment rate is significantly higher at 5.4% than the rest of Scotland (3.5%). Broughty Ferry is seen as an affluent area and does not have the same support structures in place as other wards within Dundee City Council. For example, there is no local community outreach clinic, no community centre and no community health worker for The Ferry ward. We will provide work experience and volunteering opportunities as well as a much needed cafe in a large and busy park.
Sakura will provide a resource for the community to use for groups and activities at various times as well as providing financial sustainability for the charity. In addition we will provide a food larder to assist those experiencing food poverty. We will provide employment and volunteering opportunities to young people who are neurodivergent and/or have mental health issues and our Mental Health Nurse will support those on the programme as well as the wider community.
