We want to tackle the mountains of debt, poverty and hopelessness in the UK by increasing support to our nationwide, community based, free and impartial debt advice centres. We want to help our centres reach more people in need - supporting individuals, families and those who are most vulnerable.

In 2024 our centres supported 7413 people to manage £78,732,022 of debt. Our goal for all of the people we support is to help them become free of debt and find hope for the future. Over the last 5 years debt advice has become increasingly challenging due to the volume of clients that present complex situations requiring specialist support, and changes in regulation. Our largely volunteer led centres are in need of increased training and support as they rise to meet these challenges.
We have a 27 year track record of supporting centres to provide debt advice in their communities. To continue helping our centres face these new challenges we are looking to increase the specialist support we provide to through our Adviceline, helping our centres to handle complex situations well. We will also add Hub Debt Adviser hours in order to support more clients. We will provide more training and resources to equip our volunteers with the skills they need.
