Every year, FearFree supports thousands of women and girls to rebuild their lives after domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking and harassment. We’ll use funds to expand prevention and education, empowering girls, challenging harmful behaviours, and helping stop abuse before it starts.

We are seeing a rise in abuse within teenage relationships. Many report coercive control, emotional abuse and violence. Harmful behaviours are normalised by social media, online content and peer influence, then mimicked by young people. Without guidance, they may see this as typical. Many suffer in silence, believing it’s part of growing up. By the time they realise it’s abuse, damage, emotional or physical, is often already done.
We want to expand our offering and reach more young people with our prevention work, educating them to challenge harmful behaviours in themselves and others. By teaching what healthy relationships look like, we help young people recognise early signs of abuse, seek support, and reflect on their own actions, breaking cycles of harm and fostering respectful, safe relationships for life.
