We provide affordable childcare to families who cannot afford private fees. Our outdoor learning space requires transformation to make it all weather and age appropriate (2-5 year olds) so children can access outdoor learning all year round.

There is a significant shortage of affordable childcare which is a necessity for the educational development of children. “Amongst the poorest fifth of parents with young children, only a third (36%) use formal childcare compared to double that (73%) of the highest earning households (Save the Children 09.12.24)” Crucial to the development of young children is outdoor learning, ensuring that they have a safe, nurturing outdoor environment to promote their growth and exploration of the world.
As a non-profit pre-school nursery we provide support to families who would not otherwise be able to access affordable childcare. This provision allows family members to engage in employment opportunities whilst ensuring that the children are in an educational supportive environment. By transforming our outdoor learning area we will be able to use it year round, thus enhancing the offering and ensuring that the children have a safe space to play.
