Access to education, arts, skills development, and mental health support is NOT equally available to all young women. We'll support 150+ minoritised young women through community outreach and quality youth work; forming a trusted & safe space, reducing inequalities, and realising potential.

Caring responsibilities. Barred from mainstream opportunities. Race-based inequalities & discrimination. We operate across Hackney/Haringey, which has some of the highest rates of child poverty, income deprivation, and pay inequality in London. Our beneficiaries are all from minority communities and live in areas that rank within the lowest third on the Indices of Multiple Deprivation, and experience significant disadvantages including poverty, poor housing, social exclusion, and discrimination.

At the cusp of adulthood, we provide place-based interventions for young women at our local youth hub, supporting their learning, skills development, career prospects, and general well-being. Led by & for minoritised young women, our person-centred work addresses their individual needs rather than providing generic youth work which may be inaccessible or inappropriate to address unique challenges, such as longstanding racial/gender inequalities, early adulthood, and the effects of poverty.
