More children than ever are facing mental health difficulties, with 1 in 5 experiencing a probable mental health disorder (NHS Digital, 2023). When children are struggling with their mental health, prompt and effective support is vital to help them cope and prevent problems escalating. Otherwise, the impact on their education, relationships and long-term prospects can be devastating. But many children are unable to access the life-changing support they need.

Blue Smile provides specialist mental health support for children aged 3-13 in Cambridgeshire schools, including 1:1 arts-based therapy and small-group work. Through mentoring and advice, we also help teachers and parents understand and meet children's emotional wellbeing needs at home and in school. Our services are free to families and delivered in schools so it’s as accessible as possible. Our early intervention support enables children to lead happier childhoods and build brighter futures.
