Age UK Bucks ensures older residents get the information, practical help and social connection they need to live healthier, more independent, financially stable lives. As our older population grows and the challenges of ageing more complex, we adapt and respond to needs so they can cope and thrive.

Buckinghamshire's ageing population is growing rapidly, with one in four residents set to be over 65 by the 2040s. Many of these older people continue to rebuild their lives after the impact of COVID-19, facing loss, social isolation, and reduced confidence. Rising living costs have added further pressure, making it harder to manage on low, fixed incomes. Without the right support, many older people face loneliness, isolation, and difficulty accessing essential services.
We support older residents across Buckinghamshire, helping them maintain independence, wellbeing, and purpose. We provide free, independent advice on housing, bereavement, health, benefits, and care. Our services include befriending and reconnection with local communities; help to access welfare benefits; practical help after a hospital stay; and home help delivered by trusted providers for housekeeping, gardening, handy-person and foot care.
