We need to raise £20,000 for storage and distribution costs. This will help us to save hundreds of tonnes of brand new business surplus goods from landfill, like shampoo and bedding, and gift them to thousands of vulnerable children and families in the UK, relieving poverty and hardship.

A staggering £2 billion of surplus goods is generated by UK businesses each year, essential items like food, nappies, bedding and warm clothing. A natural cycle of business resulting from unsold goods, discontinued lines and branding changes. Yet 14.5 million UK people are locked in poverty, struggling to afford food, clothing and shelter. Children all around us are going to school hungry, being bullied for wearing old uniforms, or living in unsuitable housing.
Our solution is simple:each year we save tonnes of goods from landfill (circa 5,000 tonnes of CO2e emissions), basic human essentials like shampoo, warm clothing and bedding. We reach over 600,000 people in need across the UK, including children, young people, single parent families, and homeless people, bringing kindness, compassion and care when it’s most needed. With the support of our donors, funders and partners, we make a life changing difference to their stories.
