Despite training for 5 years, opera singers struggle to find performing opportunities. We help them build their CVs to give them an edge in auditions for the top Houses, with shows delighting audiences. This campaign seeks £20,000 towards paying 16 singers for 19 performances in our 2025/6 tours.

2 problems: 1: Singers need audiences. Many people find opera forbidding, elitist, expensive & incomprehensible. Others love opera but cannot always travel to the big cities to see it live. 2: Up-and-coming professional singers need to be able to make a living while at the same time gaining enough experience to be considered for auditions by the Big Houses to help them launch their solo careers.

1: Tour widely where live opera is rarely seen: theatres, churches, Wetherspoon pub. ‘You opened my eyes as to how opera is such a moving experience’. 2: Stage directors with current international careers coaching choreography, character development & how to convince audiences. ‘Proven track record developing emerging artists at vital career points & reaching wider audiences (Arts Council); 'I learnt more on this tour than in all my years at Music College'.
