Barons Court Project is a lifeline for people most affected by the cost-of-living crisis. As a “one-stop shop,” our Day Centre provides vital support, meeting guests’ basic needs, helping them rebuild their lives, and reducing social isolation. It is a home for those who do not have one.

Evictions are increasing, rough sleeping is at record levels, and mental health challenges—already exacerbated by the pandemic—are rising again. 94% increase in rough sleeping in Hammersmith & Fulham in just one year (CHAIN: 462 individuals in 2023/24 vs. 238 in 2022/23). More people are struggling to make ends meet. Many who have never needed charity before now have no other choice.
