Situation
LVA supports children facing challenges in their relationships and in their mental wellbeing. Relational and emotional difficulties have been found to be closely associated with the most disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds (including relative and absolute poverty). In addressing relational and emotional difficulties, LVA supports right at the root of where many disadvantages and vulnerabilities emerge.
Solution
All LVA services are non-statutory and are framed over the charity's loved-valued-able model. This leads children through 6 core themes: self-esteem and emotional well-being, body positivity, empowered relationships, consent and coercion, online behaviour, and sexual & reproductive health. This content, delivered through LVA's model, supports children out the difficulties they face, and into relational and emotional wellbeing.
