Beneficiaries
Young people who are growing up in poverty experience multiple challenges to learning. They experience disproportionate levels of stress and trauma due to the systemic inequities of growing up in poverty, which often results in social, emotional and mental health needs. They are more likely to disengage from education and they need extra help to realise their potential.
Power2 delivers unique, life-changing programmes that support young people to develop the crucial personal and interpersonal skills that underpin good mental wellbeing and lifelong mental health. Our wellbeing-first approach enables young people to develop the self-confidence and sense of self-worth needed to access opportunities, to re-engage with school and learning, and lead happy and fulfilling lives.
