Since the 1930s, 97% of wildflower meadows have been lost and they are sadly now a rare habitat in the UK. This loss impacts orchids, pollinators and countless other wildlife. With your support, we want to monitor, protect, and restore these habitats so orchids can thrive in our landscapes once more

Wildflower meadows are disappearing fast, and with them, our orchids and countless other wildlife. Without a helping hand, these stunning plants and the ecosystems that support them could vanish from our landscapes forever, taking a little of nature’s magic with them.

We will carry out orchid counts and habitat surveys to guide focused conservation efforts, restore declining habitats and carefully manage our reserves to help orchids thrive. By blending expert knowledge with practical, hands-on care, we hope to secure a future for orchids and the incredible wildlife supported by wildflower meadows.
