Children today face huge pressures, from lost learning and childhood experiences due to the pandemic, to financial strains, instability, and anxieties that are exacerbated by social media. The prevalence of probable mental disorders in children has reached unprecedented levels (NHS 2022), and 1 in 5 are now regularly absent from school (DfE 2023). Children’s social, behavioural and academic outcomes - and their future chances - are at risk, with the most vulnerable disproportionately affected.

1) Through our proven intervention including follow-up programme: Children are involved in running one of our six farms, normally for a week, alongside a therapeutic, family approach, with healthy food and limited technology, breaking the cycle of academic & social exclusion. (2) Partnering with education professionals: Supporting adults to renew their motivation and enrich their practice, influencing the education system as a whole to better support children facing disadvantage nationwide.
