Oxford faces big challenges - food insecurity impacts 14% of residents and 80% of children lack proper vegetable intake. Loneliness affects 24% of adults and over half of young people report climate anxiety. Limited access to green spaces and the cost of living crisis exacerbate these issues. The growing demand for mental health support, combined with the urgency of addressing climate change, highlights the need for inclusive, sustainable initiatives to improve well-being and resilience.

We tackle these challenges by engaging 8,000+ people and working with 30+ organisations annually, creating a community committed to sustainable living. We offer hands-on farming sessions that promote environmental stewardship, teach sustainable farming practices and provide access to local food. Through experiential learning in our kitchen and the farm, we empower individuals to make positive changes, fostering a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of food, health and the environment.
